Every situation is different, but delaying a recommended crown can increase the risk of the tooth breaking. If that happens, the treatment may become more extensive, more expensive, or in some cases, the tooth may no longer be repairable.
That doesn’t mean every crown is urgent. We’ll let you know if treatment should be completed soon or if it can safely wait for a period of time.
