My Tooth Still Feels Different After My Root Canal. Is That Normal?

Yes. Many patients notice that the tooth feels different for a short time after treatment.

You may feel mild tenderness when biting or simply notice that you’re more aware of the tooth while it heals. That awareness usually improves over the next several days or weeks.

If the discomfort is becoming worse instead of better, or if the tooth develops swelling or significant pain, let us know so we can evaluate it.

Healing isn’t always immediate, but you should gradually notice improvement.
