Many extractions heal very well without antibiotics. Whether they’re recommended depends on the reason for the extraction, whether an infection is present, your medical history, and your overall health.
If antibiotics are prescribed, it’s important to take them exactly as directed and finish the entire course unless we’ve told you otherwise.
