Not every extraction requires stitches.
Simple extractions often heal well without them, while surgical extractions, bone grafts, or procedures involving larger incisions may require sutures to help the area heal properly.
If stitches are needed, we’ll explain whether they dissolve on their own or if they’ll need to be removed during a follow-up visit.
