Not every chipped tooth is an emergency, but every chipped tooth should be evaluated.
A small chip that isn’t painful may simply need smoothing or bonding. A larger chip can expose the inside of the tooth, making it more sensitive and increasing the risk of further damage.
If the chip is causing significant pain, bleeding, or resulted from an accident that also injured your jaw or other teeth, call us right away.
