It’s common for a tooth to be a little sensitive after a filling, especially to cold temperatures or when biting down. That sensitivity often improves over the next few days or weeks.
If the pain is getting worse instead of better, keeps you awake at night, or doesn’t improve, let us know. Sometimes the filling simply needs a small adjustment. Other times, the tooth may have been more inflamed than expected before treatment.
We’d much rather have you call with a question than sit at home wondering if something is wrong.
