Dental implants have a very high success rate, but like any medical or dental procedure, success can’t be guaranteed.
Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes, poor oral hygiene, certain medical conditions, or failure of the bone to heal around the implant can increase the risk of complications.
The good news is that implant problems are uncommon, and careful planning—including CBCT imaging when appropriate—helps us evaluate each case and recommend treatment that’s right for you.
If we ever have concerns about your implant, we’ll discuss them with you and recommend the best next step.
