We generally recommend removing your dentures while you sleep unless we’ve given you different instructions. Taking them out at night gives your gums a chance to rest and allows you to clean both your dentures and your mouth thoroughly.
There are times when we’ll ask you to wear your dentures overnight, such as immediately after certain extractions or when we’re checking for sore spots. If that’s the case, we’ll give you specific instructions.
