Getting used to dentures takes time, and everyone’s experience is different.
During the first few weeks, it’s normal for your dentures to feel bulky, your speech to sound slightly different, and eating to require a little more patience. As your muscles learn to work with your new dentures, these everyday activities usually become much easier.
It’s also normal to need a few adjustment appointments. Your mouth changes as it heals, and small adjustments often make a big difference in comfort.
The most important thing is to be patient with yourself. We’ll be here to make adjustments, answer your questions, and help you through the transition.
