It’s common for a new crown to feel a little sensitive for a few days, especially when chewing or drinking something cold. That sensitivity usually improves as the tooth settles down.
If your bite feels uneven, the pain gets worse instead of better, or you have lingering pain to hot or cold, give us a call. Sometimes a simple bite adjustment is all that’s needed. Other times, the tooth may need additional evaluation.
If something doesn’t feel right, we’d rather see you and make a small adjustment than have you continue to be uncomfortable.
